TIPS - TECHNIQUES - PROJECTS
Tip: After embroidering, save your leftover water soluble stabilizer in a jar with a little water to make a stiffening paste. You can paint this onto lace, fabric bowls or even use it to applique fabric onto a candle.
Tip: When doing hand applique' or binding a quilt with the hand stitch. Instead of entering the background fabric directly adjacent to where the stitch came out, position the needle just a hair before and remember to give the thread a little tug after taking the stitch to set it. Your stitch will hide better than ever.
Tip: When you seem to be more reverse sewing than forward, put the project aside until you've had a good nights sleep. You'll be surprised how much sense it all makes and how well things will go together instead of fighting it.
